MICHAEL’S BIO

Michael’s down-to-earth yet savvy style of business has led to years of success in real estate. Whether working on a multi-million dollar property or with a first time home buyer, he offers top-level service and professionalism. He thoroughly enjoys helping his clients feel at home  with the process of buying or selling their property. Michael has won  numerous awards for his outstanding sales performance and success over the past 25 years in the markets he’s served. He holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, a professional distinction that  only 4% of REALTORS® nationwide have earned. He was also awarded the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist® (CLHMS)  designation and earned the Million Dollar Guild® (GUILD) and Guild Elite® recognition  based on his knowledge, experience and sales production in the luxury  market. Michael is also a licensed real estate broker in New Mexico with  Sotheby’s International Realty in Santa Fe. “I get the best of both worlds, selling real estate in the Northern and Southern Rocky Mountains – two beautiful parts of the world. I was born in the Bay Area, but grew up  north of Dallas. I started visiting Montana when I was five years old to escape the heat of Texas, so I guess the Gallatin Canyon and Valley is in my blood and kept drawing me back. After living in Santa Fe for 16 years, we made the move to Bozeman in 2011. You only get one shot at life and I didn’t want to wait until it was too late to live in Big Sky Country,” says Michael.

"I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, and occasionally taking a child with me to provide them with an incredible experience, rather than stuff. Hong Kong with my oldest son, Japan with my oldest daughter, offshore Marlin fishing in Costa Rica with my other son and Spain with another daughter. My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in the Basque Country of Spain, which was one of the most incredible experiences of my life!" In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years and their six children, and all things outdoors – fly fishing, hunting, downhill skiing, mountain biking and hiking the incredible Montana countryside.
